ANSES Increases Family Allowances by 2.88%

The ANSES has announced a 2.88% increase in family allowance amounts and income thresholds. This increase will affect the sums and income ranges established for receiving benefits under Law 24.714. The new values will apply to benefits received or accrued from March 2026 onwards. The percentage increase is applied to the limits, ranges, and fixed amounts set out in the annexes to ANSES Resolution 23/2026, with the exception of the annual school allowance and maternity allowance, which have a specific treatment. The agency clarified that if the increase results in amounts with decimals, they will be rounded up to the next whole peso to simplify the calculation of benefits. Furthermore, the individual cap is maintained: if one member of the family group earns an income exceeding $2,722,595, that household is excluded from receiving family allowances, regardless of the total income of the group. ANSES indicated that the new values and income ranges are detailed in seven annexes that form an integral part of the norm and are published in the web edition of the Official Gazette. The measure is supported by the monthly mobility linked to the INDEC Consumer Price Index, introduced by Decree-Law 274/24, and by internal technical reports that calculated the corresponding variation, as confirmed by the Noticias Argentinas agency.
